Hi and welcome back to the second semester of the academic (and athletic!) year.

·         Picture website has been updated although we are still waiting for a lot of photos from Gobble so watch this space! http://www.suac.co.uk/pictures

·         Can all who were in the team photo please check your name is spelt correctly – see the attached picture to this e-mail.  There seems to be lots of mistakes that I have spotted but can you e-mail me if your name is incorrect just in case I miss it.

·         BUSA XC & Indoors are very soon!  Hope you are all training well and if you could pay Laura & Craig the remaining money for the XC trip soon that would make things run smoothly.

·         For all regular runners, you may wish to know that a new path is being built leading up to the hill in Staffs Uni Nature Reserve.  So if you normally avoid the “big drop” then avoid no longer!

·         Finally, I am just in contact with the Groundsman regarding a 100m/200m straight being marked out on the field for the sprinters or anyone who wants to do some strides.  I will update you all to see if we are successful.

Seriously now it is important that all the BUSA indoor entries (sports centre notice board) and deposits (£20) are in by the 21st of January, THIS FRIDAY!  So please please put your names down, currently we have only got 6 peoples names down, which is really lame to say the least.  Let me remind you that the competition is open to everyone, you don't need to be Kenenisa Bekele, Boney Faced Kipshite or a Carolina Kluft to compete.  The last two years of BUSA indoors have given me memories that will last with me for the rest of my life, it really is an amazing experience so get motivated and get involved you weiners before i get emotional! just kidding.  I will be at circuits (LRV 5pm wednesday) to take your entries and deposits, so i hope to see you there.
