Will be great to get a lot of people to go as last year was an awesome night! · Students Union Elections are taking place this week so don’t forget to vote!!! Have a good Easter! Rich Kay J Men’s Cross-Country Captain Athletes,
Good performances from the guys this weekend. We managed to field 2 teams for the Ed Prickett relays, and although we were well out of the placings in both instances, good individual performances were recorded. Of particular note is Richard Kay's 12:57 leg, which eclipsed the old club record held by Richard Weir by 13 seconds. Weir himself also managed to clock a decent time, 13:48, especially admirable given the injury woes he has been suffering since that fateful circuits session. On the A team John Rose managed to pull out a sub 16:00 clocking, boding particularly well for his upcoming London Marathon debut. In closing, well done to all those involved at the Prickett's. Substantial improvements have clearly been realised by all the lads since Sheffield and Leeds, this weekends times being evidence of this. The training must be paying off!
