Rich Kay

Men’s Cross-Country Captain

Well done to everyone who ran the BUSA Cross Country. A mixed dquad of old hands and rookies from Staffs enjoyed this years competition, and the results speak for themselves. We managed to beat last years team performances in every male team category. I could not ask for any more from you guys so well done!...

To those who went to Leeds, I am presently sorting out your rebates with the union, so I will be in touch shortly to let you know when we might be getting our cheques. Also, we are planning to field Men's & Women's teams for the Ed Pricket Memorial XC relays hosted by Nottingham Uni,on March the 12th. I want to enter as many 6 man teams for relay (2.75 Mile legs) as I can, so if you are interested please get in touch.

Laters all,

Craig T

Men’s Track & Field

Hi everyone
Hope all the Busa xc crew has recovered from the race and
night out.  Just want to mention the indoor meeting at the
NIA this thursday.  We shall be departing from outside the
LRV at 9am and will be back for 6pm.  Currently the
confirmed athletes are Nick G, Mo and Edman "the fairy
drinker" Akhrass, sorry mate but i cant not wind you up
about that, think scotty said he fancied a crack or i may
have interpreted that wrong on saturday night.  Anyone else
wanting to do it will have to let me know asap else you
will mess up the transport.  Details of the meet are on the
noticeboard.  Bring a packed lunch, pins, spikes, shorts
(Mo) and fast feet etc.  Oh yeah i will bring the wedding
cake donated by The Ramada Jarvis Hotel Chain and some paper
plates down to circuits to celebrate our Busa xc
championships, there is plenty to go round. Ps Mo and
myself are also currently planning a date to model are
newly aquired chefs uniforms.

Social Secretary

Hi,

Well done all at Busa xc! Should be a social tonight but don’t think many of you are up for it. Would be good if you could try and come as we meant to be going Walkabout for a bit as we need to go in order for them to give us our sponsorship money.  A couple of us are just going down for a few drinks so not a big spending night!

Hope you all good and coming running club tonight J
